Now in its fourth edition, Neuroscience: Exploring the Brain is an introduction to molecular, cellular, systems, and behavioral neuroscience. It focuses on the mammalian, and whenever possible, the human brain. The book was written to provide a textbook for Brown's introductory neuroscience course. Roughly one in four Brown undergraduates takes this course. The textbook is now in use at a large number of universities in the USA and abroad.
